[What do you even say to someone after something like this.
He's not even totally sure of what happened, but it was enough to prompt, well, this. He reads through the messages a couple of times -- they're simple enough, before calling Oikawa for what he can predict as one of the most awkward conversations...]
[He picked up after barely one ring, fumbling with the phone because he was blearily staring at the stars on his ceiling and feeling heavy - but seeing who was calling had him answering with a weak grin.]
Don't apologize for something you couldn't help - where are you? Are you feeling alright to hang out?
[Oikawa is already shifting to get himself up, but his voice sure sounds raw.]
Yeah. I'm in my room right now, I've been staring into space and counting the stars I put up because my brain doesn't want to quit and I need to stop thinking.
[There's a soft ramble to his tone, then a grunt because he started getting up and slipped right off the bed instead - hello floor.]
[Quit, if he heard right, but there was also a thud and it was audible enough without being on the phone.
He'll be taking to the door. He might be a little shaken up, a little nauseated with worry, but he's not incapacitated. He can walk, and he's got no problem meeting Oikawa next door.]
[Sitting up from his place on the floor, looking up and listening off the phone then when he hears the door in the hallway opening, Oikawa almost wants to flop down on the floor again. He should have just gone next door and loitered until he came back, he'd have known sooner maybe. Picking himself up slowly though, making a soft pouting sound over the phone before letting it hang up, Oikawa dumps his phone on his bed quickly to run at his own door.
Hopefully Yosuke didn't grab the doorknob at the same time Oikawa did, since he's yanking it open. Hopefully Yosuke also won't mind the familiar (clean at least) headphones hanging around Oikawa's neck.]
No...I don't think I was good enough for Santa to visit this year.
[Since, y'know, killing people isn't exactly going to get you on the 'Nice' list. Either that or Santa can't find a horror school in the middle of god knows where.]

Yeah, I'm -- do you wanna meet up somewhere?
[Essentially parroting Oikawa's question. He's in his room, which may be a good place to hang. It's quiet, private, etc...]
